Rocklin Manufacturing Co. (www.rocklinmanufacturingco.com), of Sioux City, Iowa, commissioned local artists to paint a 32 ft. by 40 ft. mural on its brick building to depict metalworking and metal fabrication scenes from vintage photographs of Rocklin employees taken during World War II. The detailed photographs have been digitally reproduced and then converted into stencils that were cut out as a pattern for the actual mural painting.

The factory produced subassemblies for tanks and trucks during WWII on a 24-hour-perday schedule.
